Narcissistic Father's Misfortune

Forgiveness is always the key, and not for him, but for you. Laughing at your dad's misfortune is going to make you feel guilty. I suggest against it especially if he is reaching the end of his life. And you want this to end well. People change.

If your mom still spoke well of your dad growing up, she did the right thing because having a dad is something all kids need.

I know he wasn't perfect but the truth is, many dads don't pay much attention to their kids. Sometimes we seek the ideal but the reality is that men are men. Of course, there are some sparkling examples which are difficult to come by but the truth is, he is just being a guy. And most guys are like that to be entirely honest. Don't expect too much.. it's not the ideal but it's the stats. I'm not saying he is blameless. I am saying, he is just a drop in the bucket. It's unfortunate, it is. But being disappointed is not helping yourself or your conscience, so don't hold anything against him, or anyone. If anything, for the sake of your own health.

Baptism and sinless after

1. Jesus was baptized  2. Jesus’ disciples baptized 3. Jesus commissioned us to baptize 4. Ephesians 4:22 talks about putting off the old man.  This means leaving your past behind and you are not that person. Your dead body is buried and you are now alive because of Christ in you. So the devil cannot point his finger at you and condemn you for your past sins because that person is dead, and you are not that person. You are a new creation. If Christ is in you, Hebrews 6:4-6 says we cannot crucify again the son of God.  2 Peter 2: For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog re...

Forgive the Fathers

Forgiveness is acknowledging what they have done but not holding a grudge; instead, it is choosing love over hate. And choosing grace over condemnation. Unforgiveness is punishing yourself for the mistakes of others; to ‘do justice’ without actually doing justice. It is name calling and shaming in the name of a grudge. It does not give power or voice to anyone but the devil — the Spirit of Unforgiveness. The outcome is eternal death. “Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.” Mark 11:25-26 “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:14-15 14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. #ForgivetheFathers

Covid kids

Q: I think my kids are having covid. Symptoms are showing. A: The day before yesterday my daughter came down with a fever, flu and cough and I was in panic mode because I live with my parents who are high risk seniors. I got her to take tons of vitamin C. Our goal was 10,000mg a day to kill the virus but she only ended up with 2,000 by the end of the day (each chewable is 500mg and the bubbly tablet drink is 1000mg). But I got the other kids to take theirs as well. They did about 1,500mg and the other 1000mg. I myself did about 1500mg because my tablet is 1000mg but I accidentally took my kids chewable and swallowed it, so ended up with 1500mg instead of 2000mg. I try to spread them out with meals so absorption rate is higher.  She’s fine now and nobody else got sick. I don’t think the fever made it through the night. Lots of prayer too.
