Q: I have PTSD but baptism is supposed to be in the sea. I've had really bad experiences and too traumatized to be baptized in the sea.  A: All that trauma should be gone once you are baptized. That's the point of getting baptized. It's much more than just dedicating our lives to God. It means putting to death our old self and being born again as a whole new person. Whoever you were before is not you anymore. Some people even get a new name when they are born again. The devil cannot accuse you of what you have done before because that wasn't you. That was a different person -- that person has died. You are a brand new creation. Whatever addiction or trauma or sickness is supposed to be gone when you emerge out of the water. 2 Corinthians 5:7 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Q: What's one thing taught in school that was proven wrong in real life? A: That one race has more privileges over any other and more rights over the land just because they arrived first. And that whoever built this great country and made it what it is today with schools and hospitals and civilization should prioritise the "masters" of the land and give them more benefits and privileges than anyone else who lives there including the descendents of those who made that country great in the first place 

Nightmares, sleep paralysis, etc. Call Jesus.  Also, before you sleep, ask your hubby to pray over you and cover you in the blood of Jesus. Or cover yourself in the blood of Jesus by saying, "I cover myself in the blood of Jesus, in Jesus' name." And then go to sleep -- you can also play worship songs while you sleep. That's a self righteousness and judgement tone. If we read the book of James and Ekklesiastes, we will learn that there are many preachers out there with different tones because they carry different messages but they all carry the heart of God and what the Spirit is saying to the church, even if it's not something we want to hear, it is not just good for us but the timely message of God.  Read James 4 and try that out loud yourself. I did. Imagine you're James the preacher. That's a pretty strong sermon right there. But I'm pretty sure James was called of God. Parents have to be loving and kind but sometimes, they give us a long lecture and it's hard to swallow but good for us. Sometimes Jesus is not the gentle, meek and kind lover but the fiery prophet with a whip. I dare not judge that they are not from God, especially those heavily anointed, appointed and called by God. Try styrofoam or cardboard after plucking out by hand.. aim for the centre where there are generally no thorns, grab securely and pull upwards with the roots, then bin immediately -- do not gather on ground. Have a lot of it myself. Filled up a whole green bin and there's still more. Use high duty gloves and always check the bottom of your shoes when leaving that area.

Q: Help. My brain can't comprehend what I'm reading. I'm think like a squirrel with zero attention span. Answer: My mother couldn't understand what she read, English being her second language but she read the Bible in the wee hours every morning, under a pen-light, under her pillow, secretly, so her father wouldn't notice. It's not what your mind comprehends. Read with your heart.

Regardless of how you feel, if you choose to forgive, just say the words, and say it aloud if you have to, "I forgive him." Like how Erika Kirk did it. It is unimaginably difficult but so necessary for your sake, not his. He wouldn't even know.  In fact, if you do not forgive him, you're only hurting yourself and risking your own salvation. Why give him more than you need to? He's already destroyed your past, don't let him destroy your future. If you want to heal, say the words, redeem your salvation, and don't give him another inch. Turning 30 and still can't find the godly and mature man you're looking for? God's will for us is not always the ideal we have in mind. Sometimes we need to let go and let God decide. It takes years for that level of maturity and godliness you are looking for. You don't always get that the day you get married but you have to pray them into it. It is a process. This was the advice given to me by a godly woman when I was nervous about the man I was about to marry. She pointed at her husband and said, "Do you think he was always this godly and mature from the beginning? No, but as a wife, we have to pray them into it." When I first prayed about a certain man that was interested in me, I took out my list: the 50 things I required, my criterion for my future spouse -- pray and fast weekly, does devotion, a good father, etc. God told me to take out my list, so I took it out. Two types of fasting -- the regular one meal a week type. And the full blown one week to forty days type because we have to make a life-changing decision or because we have reach a certain point in life where there is no where else to go but on your knees or that time when you feel a certain need in your heart to draw closer to God.
