Why women should work

Should Women work?

Yes, women are God's keys to the Transference of Wealth:

1. The Proverbs 31 woman

The Proverbs 31 woman didn't just provide for her family. She made enough to buy land.

Proverbs 31:16

She considers a field and buys it;

From her profits she plants a vineyard.

She did not just sell cookies -- it wasn't just a hobby job over the weekend when the kids were out. She did not just sell her goods to one or two customers, but was a supplier, not just to one business but to businesses. She was a manufacturer, supplier and distributor of clothes,

Proverbs 31:24

She makes linen garments and sells them,

And supplies sashes for the merchants.

2. Lydia, the seller of purple

Acts 16:14-15

14 Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. 15 And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” So she persuaded us.

Lydia was a seller of purple meaning she is a businesswoman. If you learn about the culture of those days, only rich people wore purple. She was the manufacturer of purple clothes.

3. The Egyptian Women

When the Egyptians left Egypt, it was the women, not the men, that God used by commanding them collect gold from the Egyptians.

Exodus 3:22

But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, namely, of her who dwells near her house, articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing; and you shall put them on your sons and on your daughters. So you shall plunder the Egyptians.”

It was not just a little -- it was so much gold that God even mentioned it to Abraham more than four hundred years earlier, when God told him that his descendants would be inhabiting the land of Canaan in the future. God told Abraham that this is how the Israelites were going to plunder the Egyptians.

Genesis 15:14

And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions.

Women are God's key instruments for the transference of wealth. I believe this is because women are generally charitable, selfless, generous and trustworthy.

Proverbs 31:17-20

She girds herself with strength,

And strengthens her arms.

18 She perceives that her merchandise is good,

And her lamp does not go out by night.

19 She stretches out her hands to the distaff,

And her hand holds the spindle.

20 She extends her hand to the poor,

Yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy.

4. Israelite Women

As for work, women had jobs that men did not do. This is why when God warned the Israelites about wanting a king, he said through Samuel:

1 Samuel 8:13

He will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and bakers.

Couple Disagreements -- To Move or Stay Put?

It's not up to either of you nor is it our place to advice you. You both need to pray and seek the Lord for guidance on this. The Lord has led us as a family from one place to another. There is a time to move and there is a time to stay put. Ask the Lord for guidance. Also, submission to your husband and saving your marriage is more important than money. How to Pray: Both of you, go to a room, whether alone or together, close your eyes, ask God to give you guidance on whether to move or stay, and ask Him for a book, chapter and verse. Then wait for it with eyes closed. Wait for the book, chapter number and verse number. Read the whole chapter anyway, including the key verse.  It's hard the first few times but you'll get it over time, do it everyday as devotion. Get a notebook or Google Drive to write down what God is saying. Then match your verse and understanding with his. After a few days, you kind of know where this is going.

How God Saved My Marriage on the 9th year...

Please don't give up. Remember Smith Wigglesworth. There is hope. Pray for your husband everyday. I have a secret formula that I just found out recently -- intercession -- it's not what I thought it was. It's more than just crying on behalf of someone. It's praying on behalf of someone, like, Nehemiah, "Forgive us," he prayed on behalf of his forefathers. This means praying for your husband be like, "On behalf of my husband, Lord, Jesus, I pray, forgive my sins and help me to be more like You, help me to be a good dad and help me to draw close to You. Use me to be a mighty man of God, etc....." and just allow the Holy Spirit to lead you to pray him into the man He wants him to be. Things only took a turnaround on about the 9th year or so. It was so bad that even when I tried date night, like playing a board game with him, he will be on his phone playing his game. His heart was not into us at all. I learned from one of these godly moms in the comments...

No money for extra curricular classes

Perhaps try YouTube classes. We don't spend any money on co-ops or classes. Are there any free community classes in your area or at the library? What we did was run free classes ourselves. I run some at my home and some at the local library -- business classes, etc. so my kids have other kids to have classes with.  Also, I babysit once a week and make sure it doesn't disrupt our schedule much. But what really brought in income for us was to sell furniture that we got for free. Sometimes, it doesn't need to be large furniture -- just items that people put out on the street and free items on Facebook marketplace
