Is this all it takes to be a Christian:
1 - confess that Jesus is lord
2 - that he died for my sins
3 - that God is a Trinity
4 - be baptised
5 - accept Jesus as my saviour
6 - that the Bible is 100% truth and 100% inspired by God
My answer:
Pretty much yes to all those things but that doesn't necessarily make you a Christian....
You can do all that and still go to hell.. you need to have a personal relationship with Christ and He needs to be Lord over your life. Lip serving without a sincere heart doesn't mean anything. God sees your heart. Some people say the sinner's prayer and think they're saved forever because they simply chanted a few magic words. It doesn't work like that at all.
It's a love relationship with Someone who can see right through you.
A lot of Christians still think they're Christians. You need to be born again.
If you think you've said a prayer of repentance and accept Jesus into your heart, that you're a Christian, my first question will always be -- how do you feel now? And where's Jesus now? But judging by the way you are phrasing your question, I think my first question to you would be -- did you sincerely mean every word of it?
