A Higher Standard than Christians

Stick to your gut feeling -- it's more than just clothes and boys. It is about standing up for what you believe in, even when Christians -- yes, Christians -- her age are doing the same unapproved thing.


It's not judging them -- it's having a higher standard. It is about being called of God to be holy. God has a different expectation on each person based on their different calling. Not everyone is called to be a Nazarite. Samson's parents had him do lots of things normal people don't do. John the Baptist was considered weird. We don't expect them to come close to what we aim for and don't try to influence them. But this is what we expect of ourselves and this is what we strife for.


As for my believes about 15 year olds dating, it's a big NO. Dancing at a dance class or wedding, yes.


They can have a boyfriend if they have graduated and started working with a proper job or business, not a part time job or casual on the side. And if they have prayed about it and can show me evidence through verses God has given them and such, that this is the guy and verses to show God's timing for them to go ahead.

Lazy teens

A teen is not a kid anymore. Then again, boys mature about 3 years slower, so just take that into account.  When faced with lazy teens, we need to find out the root issue — is it a spirit of laziness? It has to be addressed. He needs to know that it is a spirit and not him. And that he has to fight it. And what happens when spirits like that are not warded off. And how they can ultimately possess a person when entertained and given into. If it’s not laziness, it is a lack of motivation. What do they really have in mind that is really bothering them or they are inspired about and work on that.

Woman Leadership

I am convinced of God’s call upon my life. And am prepared to do anything He asks me to do, whether I receive approval from anyone or not.  It’s so important to read the Bible in context and to know the history of Corinth and how the women in their temples were prostitutes calling the men to have sex with them as part of their religious ceremony; and how they thought the church would be the same.
